Unlike consumer-focused bookmarking tools that publicly share information, Central Desktop Library provides business users with the flexibility they require to share research privately with trusted members only. That is the MAIN function of central desktop, it is mainly used for sharing with your own TRUSTED members. Not that it is a bad idea, but if you really want your website to get VIRAL links back, sharing it with 5 or 10 or even a 100 people may not be enough…
In terms of pricing, its pretty pricey, going on a monthly fees of between $25-$249/month! The free trial is not much use, being limited to a mere 5 members only…
Central desktop is no doubt a great software but it is really more suited if you have a collaboration with your partners, and want to only share your items with selected few.

Unless you are really good at scripting and do not mind self debugging problems, then this bookmarking script is just right for you. But if you are like me, who wants top softwares which are super easy to use, then all scripting programs are out. Takes too much time, hassle trying to install the script on my servers. The other issue with scripts is that not ALL types of servers will accommodate your script! All scripts has their very own specification of server requirement. So my suggesting is that, the moment you see scripts, the first thing to read is not what it does, but what its server requirements are first.
Other than that, viral socializer is a pretty good program at that, being one of the earliest scripts on bookmarking to be sold on the open market. However, this social bookmarking script has not evolved much and lack many of the key features needed to ensure a high (above 90%) successful rates of your links being accepted.
In terms of pricing, its pretty expensive, ok, its darn expensive. Going for $247/script… I really don’t understand why the need for high pricing. Basically they are pricing themselves right out of the market. (...Download Product)
